Potions

Cat's Cauldron

Here at COFF, we have video chats, as I mentioned a while ago when I talked about WitchCrafting BOS. That study has come and gone, and we have moved on to a new BOS study covering potions. These BOS can be their own individual books, or they can be encapsulated into a much larger volume if you wish. These studies are meant to go beyond the basics and help you to create a reference for future use, which I am sure you will always be adding to and changing as you change.

Any liquid can be used as a potion, from water to soup and everything else in between. Our current study is focusing on beverages and cleaning potions, instead of food, which of course would be kitchen witchery. In this study, we are going over alcoholic and non-alcoholic syrups for drink bases and sodas, teas, probiotics, different waters, and even cleaning potions. This is truly an all-encompassing study.

As we go through the different weekly topics, we will discuss the ingredients, and their uses, create some recipes of our own, and in the realm of the different spirits cover some other ways of using them besides in consumption or offerings.

I have mentioned before how we have so much that we can work with that this is just another one of those tools that can advance our magicks to the next level. Not only that, but we can also expand our knowledge about a topic we may think we know, yet in reality we know very little.

As with all these studies, you must be a student of COFF to attend, and if you are unable to attend the chats themselves, the notes are posted for anyone who wishes to follow along and download any PDFs that are attached. If you are unable to join us at this time, I do hope your interest is piqued in this particular topic, and when you can join us, you, too, can share your findings with us. Till next time.

Blessings!
High Elder Redhawk
