Terrariums

I recently had the pleasure of attending a terrarium-making class. In this class, not only did you learn how to make a terrarium, but also what the different layers are for and what makes it a bio-active, jar-contained environment.

While in the class, I saw so many magickal possibilities for this living, growing paradise. Not only can you add specific colors in the drainage portion, but on the top level, you can also add different crystals and other decorations to add to the energy.

There are springtails and pillbugs added to help keep the mold, mildew, and foliage decay under control, which helps create the bio-active portion of this environment. With that said, writing an intention down on paper to add to the interior of the jar or bottle would not be a good idea. But you could tie it to the outside.

This kind of spell jar is an ongoing, lifelong (if properly established and maintained) adventure. Creating one for a happy healthy home would be perfect. Doing some research and creating one for prosperity is another good idea. Even one for love or other things that you would want to be perpetual.

When you are finished creating your terrariums, they need to be placed somewhere there is indirect light. You never want to place them in the direct sun, as that will kill all the plants. If your kitty cat or puppy dog likes to lie there, then it’s a good bet the terrarium would not like it.

If you’ve never created a terrarium before, there are plenty of books on the subject. You may also find a class near you that you could take, either through a terrarium-supply store or your local community college. There are also several Youtube videos and channels that are very helpful.

If you have any desire to try your hand at this living craft with endless possibilities, I wish you many blessings on your success. Enjoy!

Blessings!
