I recently attended a talk on glamour magick, a subject we tend to overlook as a very useful tool. The very basic concept of glamouring is to change a person’s perspective. To have them see what you want and not what is there, a temporary mask. Such spells can be used for beautification, with love magicks, for protection, and for other purposes, as well.
With the aid of crystals, perfumes, colognes, and even magickal waters and words, we can show the world our true beauty or become invisible to the threats that follow us. All of this is an illusion, where we are performing a magick to manifest our desires for our future selves.
A simple way to do this is to enchant an item or a fragrance with the desires you wish to emanate. Rose is a very common love attraction. Perhaps a protection crystal or anything else that you feel will manifest your desire will work for you.
If you are wishing to use glamour for protection in an unsafe situation, you can employ magick words alone or with a a piece of jewelry, crystal, or anything else you want to activate the glamour. This would act as a focal point for you to concentrate on during your time doing the glamouring.
Out of all of this, you are the one with focus and intent, who is bringing forth the illusion. This type of magick isn’t used to purposely deceive people in everyday situations. It is meant to help you show the world who you truly are, and once you can master that, you will be the person you are showing the rest of the world.
