Happy New Year!

Well, happy New Year! it has been a very long year but now that we have started a new calendar year we can start to look at things with fresh eyes. Actually, since it is the time of year for rest it’s a good idea to take a hard look inward and be at rest. We are coming to a close, that time of year that is so busy with people gathering together, gift giving, shopping, plus all the activities and holidays. Now that we are in the new year we can start to relax and take this opportunity to reevaluate ourselves.

One of my goals this year is to actually do that in my personal life. As so many people do, I never make resolutions. Instead, I set goals and make promises. Sometimes, they work, and sometimes, they don’t. I do believe it is in our best interest to try. Now that the holidays are behind us, we can begin to look inward, rest, and catch up on things that we’ve been meaning to.

As witches we understand that we live a lifestyle that is tuned to nature and in the northern hemisphere we are at a time of rest. So, may I put out a challenge? As you’re putting your holidays away take some time to read, perhaps meditate, or just plain rest. You can always do all of those things throughout your. Just make sure you take time for yourself and that includes bundling up (if it’s cold) and going for a walk in nature, trying something new whatever that may be, this is all for you to become a better person a healthier person, and all around better you.

Throughout the year I’m going to do my best in trying to help you with this. My goal is going to be creating posts with ideas of things that you can do throughout the year in the different time periods, seasons, and festivals. This will help you to beable to bring a little more magick into your everyday life.

Let me welcome you into the new year. May this year be filled with wonder and merriment may you achieve your goals while transforming yourself into a totally and completely new you.

Until next time may your days be filled with wonder and magick.
