Good Day, and Welcome to COFF

I must first apologize for not doing this much sooner, many things have played a part in that.

Let me introduce myself, I am High Elder Redhawk, one of the teachers on staff here at COFF. Something I forget is that there are visitors to our free section, not just the paid forums. And those areas need attention as well. Please forgive us, the Arch Priestess is a very busy person running the school, and I just fell asleep at the wheel on this one, thankfully, I didn't have an accident doing so.

For those new to us or who have been around awhile and are not sure where everyone is or what we are doing. We are a mystery school, which you have figured out. Some of the social activities are regular video chats currently held on Sundays and Tuesdays, with more to come. I will say those are for students. We do have the ability to have one here as well. With that said, if any of you fine folks would like to have a chat, please reach out and let me know, and I will work out a way to schedule one. This will allow you to see some of us and for us to be able to answer some questions live, perhaps to help you make a decision if you want to join us here at COFF. Please let me know if that is something you would like to do.

A goal that I am setting for myself is to check back here weekly and share how my week has gone, and if there is anything new going on at the school. If you do ask me a question, it won't take me a week to respond. I should be able to answer you pretty quickly.

For all you newcomers and older visitors, I look forward to hearing from you. Below this post, you will see a comment button. If you wish to ask me a question, have a comment about this post, or just want to say hello, please write me a comment.

I so look forward to hearing from you. Until next time. May your days be filled with many blessings.

It has been a week since my last post, and this week has had challenges, as I am sure we can all relate to. My area of the world has been raining a lot for the past couple of weeks. Just one storm system after another, which is good since we ended up in a drought last fall. This rain has helped us get out of that sticky, or should I say dry, situation.

With all of this rain, I haven't been able to get out into the garden and do my planting. Except for this past Tuesday, which was a really nice day, and I knew it was going to rain the rest of the week. It was that day or not at all, I was able to get everything planted and my garden and yard finished before the rains came in, and it all looks really good, plus I can just sit back and enjoy it until weeding or harvesting needs to be done.

This past week at COFF, we started a new book study on fairy tale magick. It is held in a private chat on Fridays, our Arch Priestess posted a notice about it. That happens to be all that is going on with me, as I mentioned before. If you ever have any questions, please, by all means, ask. Until next time, may your week be filled with many blessings.

Another week has passed and we still had a lot of rain. With the new month starting today, we are expected to be in summer temps by the end of the week.

This week, we reopened the Thursday Thirteens chat again with a book study on the underworld, which goes hand in hand with the faerie tale books we are doing. Both chats are private, and you need to be a student to join in on them. They are great studies with a world of knowledge to be had within them.

It has been a very long week for me, so this is going to be a short post. As I always say, you are more than welcome to ask any questions if you wish. Until next time, may your week be filled with many blessings.

I must first apologize for being a little late with my post. It has been a very long week for me and my husband. Without going into great detail, we had a loss in the family, and there is, of course, a lot to do with a great amount of stress involved.

Everything here at COFF is going well, we are having four chats a week, with more coming later in the year. The current chats are for members of the school. You learn a lot with a great well of knowledge from everyone.

It is a very short post this week until I get my head back into the game, if you will. I did want you all to know that I am here, and if you have any questions, just ask.

Until next time, may your week be filled with many blessings.

I almost forgot to do my post for the week. Not a lot is going on with everything here. I myself have been busy taking care of many different projects, with all the things that have now come up in my life. It has been a slow week at COFF as well, just like everyone and everything, we get overwhelmed and need to take a break. If not, then we open ourselves up to becoming very sick and not being any good to anyone. There are times we must take a break, and for COFF, that was last week.

With that said, I am going to leave you and wish you many blessings for the week to come.

I must say I have impressed myself by remembering to post today when I am supposed to. Cudos for me, and remembering.

This was a busy week for me, my husband and I had a lot of small trips we had to make, which gave us a chance to see a little town we have always wanted to visit. Unfortunately, it also started to become very hot, and a heatwave started in my area. Which means we are looking at temperatures in the high 90s to 100s, yuck.

Here at the school, everything is back to normal after a couple of days' break. When even started to talk about what books we may wish to read after we get through our selected list. Since it is summer or truly midsummer, we aren't starting any new project at the moment, for the aforementioned reasons.

As always, if you have any questions, please ask, and as always, I wish you many blessings in this week to come.

I must apologize for missing last week, this is not an excuse, life has been a lot lately. I realize I have been vague about all of that and without going into great detail, there has been a death in the family that my husband, sister in law, and I have been dealing with. Also, some health concerns are looming for my husband, nothing that can't be treated, still, there are a lot of appointments that we need to go to. And it seems that all we are doing is going to see a doctor or for a test of some kind.

For all of you who are in America, I hope you had a wonderful, restful, fun Independence Weekend. There wasn't a lot going on here as part of our Sunday Funday Chat we discussed how the fireworks seemed especially loud and numerous. We specifically where mentioning the illegal or home fireworks. Personally, we all enjoy professional displays. The ones that are shot off in the streets are too loud, the noise scares all wild and domestic animals, the elderly, babies, and all who suffer from PTSD. I realize not much is can be done to stop it, people should just think a little before they start shooting off those professional-grade fireworks.

Before I go, I do want to wish you all a very blessed week. May you all look forward to this month's full moon. Till next time.

I will admit that I almost forgot to post this week. It was a very busy and exhausting week for me, which ended with my town's fireworks display last night.

Earlier in the week, COFF had July's Full Moon ritual it was very lovely. The next biggest festival is the first harvest, which will be in a couple of weeks. We are still going strong with our weekly chats and books we are studying. There really isn't much more at this time, as with everything this time of year, it goes week to week.

Until next week, may you be greatly blessed in all your adventures throughout the week.

It has been very hot and humid in my neck of the woods this past week. Which just makes it very uncomfortable, I do understand that a dry heat is still hot, but without the humidity, it's not oppressive and draining. I live in an area where summer is a very humid time of year, not nice at all, especially when you are in the shade and it's not much cooler.

Later this week, we will have our new moon ritual being led by one of our fine High Priestesses. Soon we will be celebrating the first harvest festival. As is with summer, there isn't a whole lot new going on at the moment. I will keep you informed of new things as they come up.

That seems to be it for this week, until next week, may you have many blessings cross your path.
